The AKP government's increasingly ongoing operations of political genocide have tonight targeted the deputies of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) who were detained as a result of simultaneous house raids in line with the order of Diyarbakır Public Prosecutor.

HDP Amed MP Çağlar Demirel stated the followings regarding the crackdown on the party executives: “These raids and detentions are a coup. The will of the people cannot be suppressed through an abduction and arrest of their elected representatives. We consider this a coup and never accept it. This is the fascistic approach of the state.”
