HPG Media Center announced that guerillas carried out an action against the soldiers at Xırvate outpost in Hakkari’s Yüksekova district at 16:50 on October 11. Guerillas hit a tank during the action, and 3 soldiers were killed and the tank was destroyed. Guerillas also hit the outpost effectively, and a fire broke out and damaged military equipment.

HPG stated that the airport in Yüksekova has been used for military shipments for a while now, and the regional guerilla command had distributed pamphlets and warned the civilians to not use the airport because it has been used for army attacks. Guerillas carried out an action against the airport at 07:00 on October 13, and an airplane was damaged during the action.

HPG Media Center stated that Turkish warplanes bombarded the Xeregol region of Medya Defense Zones’ Zap region between 14:30 and 15:00 on October 12. Turkish army also launched an operation in the Şehriban region of Şırnak on October 11, and the clashes that broke out here continue. HPG stated that more information on these clashes would soon be shared with the public.

HPG said that a unit of 2 guerillas ran into soldiers between the Sêz and Mıştak villages of Bitlis’ Norşin district at 22:30 on October 11, and 1 guerilla fell as martyr during the clashes broke out here. Turkish soldiers took the other guerilla, Aras Norşin (Nihat Bakırtaş), as prisoner.

Turkish army is reported to have launched an operation in the Uranıs region of Bitlis’ Tatvan district on October 11.

HPG Media Center stated that the Turkish army sent reinforcements to the Xaltan village of Antep’s Islahiye district at 09:00 on October 12, after the action against the GİM (CİM) work site in this village on October 10. Guerillas carried out a sabotage action and inflicted a heavy blow against the reinforcements that were inside a civilian minibus near the village of Kayabaşı at 11:30 on October 12, and 3 soldiers were killed here. The owner of the work site is reported to be Selahattin Türkmen.

Lastly, HPG guerilla Fedakar Amed (Ozan Arslan) was critically injured after the accident he had during a mission in Amed on August 28. Fedakar Amed fell as martyr despite all medical attempts to save his life.
