HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Office released a statement providing information about the ongoing guerrilla actions and clashes with Turkish military forces in Northern Kurdistan territory.

HAKKARİ

At 22:00 on October 29, Turkish army launched an operation in Tılora, Kuçê, Leskan, Muşanê, Terê, Memkava, Xurekanê, Şişemzîn, Dodka, Delezê, Dirik and Aylava villages of Hakkari's Gever (Yüksekova) district.

At between 10:30 – 11:00 on October 30, guerrillas hit a truck transporting supplies to the Konserve hill in the countryside of Hakkari's Şemzinan (Şemdinli) district, and the soldiers in the area. While the truck was destroyed and burned to ashes, the number of dead or wounded soldiers couldn't be clarified.

At between 13.30 – 14.00 on October 30, guerrillas hit the soldiers on Elişêr hill in Oremar region of Yüksekova district with mortars. The number of dead or wounded soldiers that were retrieved with Sikorsky helicopters following the action, couldn't be clarified.

At 09:30 on October 29, YJA Star (Free Women's Troops) guerrillas targeted the soldiers that had gathered near the landing ground of a Sikorsky helicopter in Çukurca Brigade. Guerrillas also hit the lodging buildings in the Brigade during the same hours.

At 15:30 the same day, YJA Star guerrillas hit the Brigade with mortars.

While Turkish army suffered losses, the number of casualties couldn't be made clear. Turkish troops here shelled the surroundings with howitzer, mortar fire and jets following the action.

At 13:20 on October 30, guerrillas hit the soldiers on Havan hill in Çukurca countryside from two sides. At least 2 soldiers were verified killed, while an emplacement here was destroyed and another A-4 heavy weaponry emplacement was damaged.

At between 14.00 - 14.30 on October 30, guerrillas hit the soldiers on Koordine hill in Çukurca countryside with weapons. 2 soldiers were killed and 1 other was wounded in the first emplacement here. Guerrillas also targeted the soldiers that attempted to escape to another emplacement, leaving 4 more soldiers dead.

At 15:00 on October 30, guerrillas once again hit the soldiers on the same hill from two directions.

Two emplacements were destroyed and 5 soldiers were killed as a result of the strikes by the first guerrilla unit, while 3 other soldiers were killed by the second unit of guerrillas.

Following the action, Turkish troops shelled the surroundings with howitzer and mortar fire, while fighter jets bombed the village of Sıpê at 15:30.

ŞIRNAK

On October 30, YJA Star guerrillas hit the Hill Çeta outpost in Şırnak's Uludere district with heavy weapons. 1 soldier was killed in the action which was dedicated to guerrillas martyred in Deriyê Dawetiya area.

A guerrilla by the name of Rüstem fell a martyr on October 13 during a clash with soldiers partaking in the operation launched by the Turkish army in Şırnak's Şehriban area on October 11.

AĞRI

On October 27, guerrillas carried out a sabotage action targeting the gas pipeline held by the state in Ağrı's Doğubeyazıt (Bazîd) district. 10 barrels of gas, 2 transformers and 1 container were destroyed in the action which started a fire that continued for two days. The action was dedicated to guerrillas Martyr Navdar and Martyr Şidar.
