HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Office has released a statement about the ongoing attacks of the Turkish state and actions by guerrillas in response.

The statement reported that guerrillas conducted an action against soldiers involved in search activities in Biryas village of Amed's Lice district at 11:00 yesterday. 4 specialist sergeants were killed in the action which was carried out in memory of guerrillas martyred in Amed's Dicle district, and civilians murdered in Farqin (Silvan) and Silopi.

HPG said the Turkish army operation in Birbir area of Hakkari's Yüksekova district continues, as part of which the area was shelled by Turkish troops at 07:00 this morning.

QANDİL BOMBED BY TURKISH AIRCRAFT

According to the HPG statement, a number of Turkish jets carried out an airstrike against the villages of Bokriskan, Lewcê, Zergelê, Enzê, Fıledê, Dola Şehidan and Dola Kokê in Qandil region between 00.00 - 05.30 last night. The shelling greatly harmed the civilian areas.

From yesterday evening till this morning, the Herekol area in Siirt was bombed by Turkish jets from the air and simultaneously by Turkish troops from the ground.

An intense activity of Turkish jets took place over the Zap, Metina, Garê, Heftanin, Avashin and Xakurkê areas of guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones between 22:30 yesterday evening and 05:00 this morning.

Troops at Oremar guard post at the border to Avashin area of Medya Defense Zones shelled Martyr Gafur area between 14.30 -15.00 yesterday.

Troops at Hill Maymun guard post at the border to Heftanin shelled Hill Martyr Rênas between 09.00 – 09.30 today.

Turkish UAVs also conducted reconnaissance flights over the following guerrilla areas in Medya Defense Zones;

- Zap region between 22:00 on November 12 and 05:30 on November 14,

- Garê area between 19:30 yesterday and 05:00 today,

- Metina area between 00.30 – 03.30 today.
