HPG: 6 soldiers killed, 2 others wounded in clash in Muş

HPG reported that six soldiers were killed and two others were wounded in a clash in the countryside of Muş province.

HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Office has released a statement providing detailed information about the ongoing war in Northern Kurdistan territory.

Accordingly, guerrillas conducted a sabotage action targeting a panzer in a military convoy heading from Oremar outpost to Sinewa outpost in Hakkari's Yüksekova district at 13:00 on August 4. While the panzer was damaged, the number of dead or wounded soldiers couldn't be clarified.

MUŞ

At 23:00 on August 2, a confrontation took place between Turkish soldiers and a guerrilla unit that encountered near Kıjlakom village in the countryside of Muş province. Six soldiers were killed and two others were wounded in the clash, while two guerrillas also fell martyr. Turkish army started an operation in Karasu and Murat areas in the wake of the clash, and soldiers conducted raids and searches in houses in the villages of Kasor, Horang and Gavan. Soldiers partaking in the operation raked a civilian car, leaving one civilian wounded.

AMED

Turkish army started an operation in Apê Musa area in Amed's Lice district on August 2 and has been shelling the surroundings of Cahit, Şelê and Şabek villages and the areas of Qılê Boa and Küçük Taşlık since. The bombardment started a fire in the area as the operation continues.

BİTLİS

Guerrillas destroyed a base station and internet line in Pıfyan village in Hizan district of Bitlis at 22:00 on August 4.

KARS

Guerrillas conducted an assassination action targeting a hill where a Turkish military unit was deployed near Penabut village in Kağızman district of Kars on August 4, which left one soldier dead.
