HPG: 6 specialist sergeants killed, 11 soldiers wounded in Derik
HPG reported that 6 specialist sergeants were killed and 11 soldiers were wounded in a guerrilla action in Mardin's Derik district two days ago.
HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Office has announced the results of the sabotage action carried out by guerrillas in between Mardin's Derik district and Urfa's Viranşehir district on June 29.
Accordingly, the sabotage action by HPG guerrillas left 6 specialist sergeants dead and 11 members of state forces, including 5 special operations police and 6 soldiers, wounded.
In the meantime, Turkish officials announced that two soldiers wounded in Derik in the mentioned guerrilla action have died earlier today.
