HPG Press Office released a statement providing information regarding the ongoing actions by HPG (People's Defense Forces) and YJA Star (Free Women's Troops) guerrillas.

HAKKARİ

Guerrillas hit the soldiers in Garê Regiment in Hakkari's Şemzinan (Şemdinli) district at 10:00 on October 11, leaving two soldiers dead.

The operation launched by Turkish army in Şemzinan on October 9 was retreated on October 11 night without yielding any results.

At 17:00 on October 11, guerrillas performed road check in Çukurca region and informed the people about the current process. Guerrillas burned 3 lorries that were transporting sand to Meskan outpost, and released the drivers after a warning.

At 09:00 on October 11, guerrillas targeted the soldiers heading from Koordine hill to Sıpê village of Çukurca, as a result of which 4 soldiers were killed.

Another military unit that attempted to intervene the guerrillas was also hit effectively, which left 2 more soldiers dead.

The Turkish unit re-attempted to advance after a while but they were ambushed by guerrillas, and 3 other soldiers were killed here. Turkish jets shelled the area in the wake of the action and the military operation in this area continues.

Guerrillas hit the Êriş outpost at 11:30 on October 11 but the number of soldiers killed or wounded in the action couldn't be clarified.

Turkish fighter jets bombarded Xeregol and Sıpê areas in the afternoon of October 11.

VAN

Guerrillas destroyed a base station in a sabotage action in Van's Çatak district at 17:00 on October 11.

ŞIRNAK

Turkish military started an operation in Şırnak's Şehriban area in the evening of October 11 and the operation is ongoing.

BİTLİS

1 soldier was killed in a targeted action of guerrillas targeting the Hêrwız outpost in Bitlis at 07:30 on October 11.

DERSİM

Guerrillas hit and destroyed the thermal position in Sinad outpost in Dersim at 18:00 on October 11. Turkish army shelled the surroundings at random with tank fire in the wake of the action.

Turkish army launched an operation after airdropping soldiers in Dokuzkayalar and Hıngırvan areas of Dersim on October 11 night. The operation primarily targets the Pülümür (Harçik) valley and more detailed information will be shared with the public once available.

The Munzur Valley was bombarded by Turkish troops from surrounding outposts at between 20:00 – 22:00 on October 11.

ERZİNCAN

YJA Star guerrillas carried out a sabotage action targeting a freight train in Kemah district of Erzincan at 13:15 on October 11. Two wagons of the train were destroyed and many others were damaged in the action.

ANTEP

Guerrillas conducted an action aiming the GİM building site run by an AKP member named Selahattin Türmen near Xaltan village of Antep's Islahiye district on October 10 night. 7 lorries, 1 digger, 1 laboratory room and 1 room of engineers were burned and destroyed in the action.

On October 11, three base stations, 1 generator and 1 television station in the same area were destroyed in a sabotage action of guerrillas on October 11.
