People's Defense Forces Press Office HPG-BIM reported in a written statement that bodies of three guerrillas were all burned and became unrecognizable as a result of an intense bombardment by Turkish troops.

According to the HPG statement, a guerrilla team got deployed in an empty hamlet on their way for a duty in Tendürek (Gergîlî) neighborhood of Zîlan region in Van's Erciş district on 11-12 November night.

Turkish troops therewith started an operation and encircled the hamlet, upon which some senior soldiers attempted to infiltrate into the area of guerrillas. During the consequent clashes in the area, one sergeant major was killed and a total of 9 soldiers were wounded, including 6 heavily.

While the troop retreated after failing to accomplish a result here, the house where guerrillas took shelter was targeted by an intense bombardment of Cobra helicopters, which left the house ruined and three guerrillas martyred.

Bodies of guerrillas Devrim Tendürek, Harun Glîdax and Cemil Rojhılat were all burned and become unrecognizable as a result of the intense bombardment conducted with advanced techniques.

HPG statement underlined that; "The Turkish army which is notorious for disobeying the rules and law of war, has continued committing a despicable treatment against guerrilla bodies. This case has once again manifested the attitude towards the values of the Kurdish people."

HPG added that ID details of the fallen guerrillas will be announced once made clear.

According to the statement, guerrillas conducted an action against the Girê Cotyar Brigade troops in Gabar area at 13:00 yesterday. Three soldiers were killed in the action after which the scene was shelled by Cobra helicopters.

In another action in memory of the 3 HPG members martyred in Gabar, guerrillas targeted the troops affiliated to TRT Gabar and Girê Cotyar brigades with mortar and howitzer fire.

On the other hand, Hill Yekmal guard post at the border to Heftanin area of Medya Defense Zones shelled Bektorya area at random between 10.30 - 23.00 yesterday.

Maruka guard post at the border to Zap region of Medya Defense Zones shelled Şikefta Birindara and Hill Karker areas between 08.00 - 08.30 yesterday.
