HPG destroys 5 of the 6 emplacements of Turkish troops in Lêlîkan

HPG guerrillas hit the Turkish invasion forces stationed on Hill Lêlîkan in southern Kurdistan, destroying 5 emplacements.

Turkish troops remain stationed in 6 emplacements on Hill Lêlîkan as their operations to invade the Sidekan region within southern Kurdistan boundaries continue.  

Local sources report that HPG guerrillas carried out an action Friday afternoon and destroyed 5 of the total 6 emplacements of Turkish forces here. While many soldiers were reportedly killed in the action, the exact number couldn’t be clarified. Following the action, Turkish warplanes bombed the area.

As part of the same action, 6 Turkish soldiers were killed in targeted actions.
