In memory of the martyrs from different parts of Kurdistan, HPG said: "Our country Kurdistan has been divided into four areas by the hegemonic powers and the forces of the region. In all parts, the reactionary colonial powers have applied genocidal policies against our people and have done everything to deprive them of their identity, to bring about alienation and to take away their roots. With an unprecedented resistance, our people in all parts of the country have managed to preserve their existence until today. This tradition of revolt has been passed down from generation to generation."
Rênas Taylan, Serbest Kirmaşan, Zagros Şengal and Rênas Andok have also remained attached to this tradition, said the statement and continued: "They joined the liberation movement from different places and fought until their last breath. In doing so, they became the enemy's nightmare. They met in the mountains of Kurdistan and freed themselves from the dirt of capitalist modernity to take a step toward a free life with their own identity."
HPG expressed their condolences to the relatives and patriotic people in all four parts of Kurdistan and vowed to continue the struggle of the martyrs.
