HPG Press and Communication Centre released a statement about recent guerrilla actions in Agri and Hakkari.
According to the statement, HPG guerrillas targeted Turkish army unit in charge of securing border wall construction area near Tujik military outpost, in rural Dogubayazid on December 4. At least seven Turkish soldiers were killed. Other soldiers fled the area in armoured vehicles.
In another development, HPG guerrillas hit Turkish military positions in Koordine Hill near Cukurca, a district of Hakkari province. HPG reported causalities on the Turkish side.
After the action, Turkish army bombarded the area with howitzers and mortars.
