HPG hits a military vehicle in Igdır: 8 soldiers dead

HPG Press Office stated that guerrillas carried out an action against a military vehicle in Igdır, killing 8 soldiers.

HPG Press and Communications Center said that guerrillas carried out an action as part of the Revolutionary Victory Campaign launched in Serhat province.

According to the statement, guerrillas carried out a sabotage action against a military vehicle of the Turkish army in the countryside of Igdır province at around 01:30 on March 6. The vehicle came under intense fire at the same time, as a result of which it burned down and was destroyed completely. 8 soldiers were confirmed killed in the action.

Following the action, guerrilla forces targeted the soldiers that attempted to intervene, but the number of soldiers killed or wounded couldn’t be clarified.
