HPG (People’s Defense Forces) Press Center released a statement providing information about an action carried out by guerrillas in Doğubeyazıt district of Ağrı yesterday.

The statement said the following;

“At 14:30 on December 21, our forces carried out an action as part of the Martyr Mahir, Martyr Eylem and Martyr Argeş Revolutionary Campaign on Qozıli outpost road in Bazid (Doğubeyazıt) district of Ağrı. A Connect type vehicle carrying soldiers including Qozıli outpost commander was put under surveillance and hit effectively. The vehicle was destroyed and the number of dead and wounded soldiers couldn’t be clarified. Following the action, Turkish forces shelled the area indiscriminately with heavy weaponry.”
