People's Defense Forces (HPG) Press Office reported ongoing attacks by Turkish military against guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory.

Accordingly, Turkish jets shelled Bukriskan, Lewcê, Ebabekir and Siyes villages and surroundings within Qandil territory between 03.30 – 06.30 today. Surroundings of Kîlîsê and Artuşê villages in Garê area were also bombarded by Turkish warplanes between 04.45 – 05.30 this morning.

HPG provided the following details regarding the mortar, howitzer and tank attacks conducted by Turkish military against guerrilla zones;

- Troops at Bilican outpost at the border of Hakkari's Çukurca district bombed Martyr Colomerg, Güvenlik Hill, Erbiş village, Talisa area, Ertuş castle Hill Martyr Dünya, Garêya Piçuk and Hilal village's surroundings between 09.00 – 14.30 yesterday.

- Troops at Şkêr outpost bombed Çiyayê Reş aea between 10.00 – 15.00,

- Troops at Eriş outpost bombed Kanî Cinnetê, Dola 82 and Mergeşînê village between 15.00 – 15.30.

- Troops at Oremar outpost in Hakkari's Yüksekova district bombed Martyr Rahime area of Avashin region between 00.00 – 00.30 last night.

- Troops at Elemun outpost in Şırnak's Uludere district bombed Martyr Dilber and Derarê area between 12.30 – 00.00 yesterday.

- Troops at Silor outpost in Hakkari's Şemdinli district shelled Xapuşke area between 12.00 – 17.30 yesterday.

HPG reported that guerrillas conducted an action against the Sivri hill outpost in Oremar area between 06.30 – 08.30 this morning. While the number of casualties couldn't be verified, troops in the outpost shelled the surrounding areas in the wake of the action by guerrillas.

HPG continued, reporting reconnaissance activity by Turkish aircraft over the following guerrilla zones on 13-14 March;

- Zap region between 18.00 – 09.00,

- Heftanin area between 22.00 – 04.00,

- Metina area between 18.00 – 06.30,

- Xakurke area between 12.30 – 17.30,

- Qandil region between 02.30 – 06.30,

- Avashin area between 03.30 – 06.00.
