HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Centre released a statement providing details about a Turkish army attack and operation, and an action by guerrillas.

Accordingly, the Turkish army launched an operation in the Gırê Çolya and Kolya areas in the Judi area of Şırnak on 28 February. The operation is still continuing.

On the other hand, guerrilla forces hit the positions of the Turkish army, located at the top of Koordine hill on the border of Hakkari's Çukurca district with mortars between 10:00 am and 10:30 am on March 2. In this action, the number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be clarified.

HPG stated that the Turkish army warplanes bombarded the Ari strait of the Xakurkê area of Medya Defense Zones between 12:30 and 13:30 on March 1.
