People's Defense Forces Press Office HPG-BIM has released a statement reporting intense bombardments by Turkish troops at the border line.

HPG reported activity by Turkish jets over Qandil region of guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones between 11:40 and 13:30 of 14 March.

Bilican outpost at the border of Hakkari's Çukurca district bombed Marty Alişêr hill between 04.50 and 05.55 this morning.

Troops at Sivri Hill shelled Hill Sor and surroundings between 10.00 and 10.30 this morning.

Troops at Aruş outpost in Şırnak's Uludere district shelled Kure Şino hill from 09:20 to 21:40 yesterday.

Troops at Elemun outpost bombed Martyr Dilber Hill between 10:20 and 00:00 with howitzer and mortar fire.

Between 10:00 and 11:00 on 14 March, guerrilla forces hit a group of Turkish soldiers as they gathered on Seyidan Hill at the border of Şırnak's Uludere district. While the number of casualties couldn't be verified, troops at Elemun outpost shelled the scene with tank, howitzer and mortar fire in the wake of the action by guerrillas.

Troops at Şkêr outpost in Hakkari's Çukurca district bombarded Çiyayê Reş area in Zap region of Medya Defense Zones between 14:00 and 16:00 yesterday.

Troops at Bilican Regiment and Eriş outpost near the border of Çukurca bombarded Erbiş village, Xeregol hill, Zerê village, Şikefta Birîndara, Garêya Biçuk, Martyr Newal hill and Dola Kınyaniş areas between 05:50 and 06:10 today.
