Actions by guerrilla forces continue in response to the ongoing operations by the Turkish army.

HPG reported that the Turkish army operation in Oremar is going on, while fresh operations have been started in Şırnak's Gabar area and rural areas of Amed's Dicle district. Airstrikes against PKK-held Medya Defense Zones also continue.

People's Defense Forces Press Office (HPG-BIM) released a statement about the ongoing attacks by the Turkish military and actions by guerrillas in response.

ACTIONS AGAINST TURKISH TROOPS IN OREMAR

HPG-BIM reported that guerrillas have conducted effective actions against Turkish troops whose operation in Oremar region of Hakkari's Gever (Yüksekova) district continues since October 4th. Accordingly;

One soldier was killed as a result of an assassination action by guerrillas who targeted the troops at Hill Martyr Bager in Oremar region- at the border to Avashin region of Medya Defense Zones- between 13:00-14:00 yesterday.

Another action by guerrillas targeted 3 armored vehicles of the Turkish army heading towards Oremar guard post at 16:00 on November 4. While 2 of the armored vehicles were damaged, the number of casualties left by the action couldn't be verified.

OPERATION IN GABAR

HPG reported that the Turkish army has started a fresh operation in Gabar area of Şırnak yesterday evening.

While the operation targeted Martyr Adıl and Martyr Gulbahar cemeteries in Gabar, Turkish soldiers later started to advance from the area of Hill Gırnê to Kela Dêrweş, Hill Bazi and Çelê Sor areas. Details regarding the operation will be made public once made clear.

One soldier of the Turkish army was killed as a result of an assassination action carried out by guerrillas against the troops deployed on a hill controlled by Zivingê Brigade in Gabar area at 15:00 yesterday.

OPERATION IN AMED'S DİCLE DISTRICT

HPG-BIM stated that the Turkish military has started another operation in the rural areas of Amed's Dicle (Piran) district in the evening hours of November 4. HPG said details regarding the operation will be announced once made clear.

BOMBARDMENTS AND AIRSTRIKES AGAINST GUERRILLA AREAS CONTINUE

HPG-BIM continued by providing the following details about the ongoing attacks of the Turkish army against guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory.

Troops at Hill Yekmal and Hill Sinek guard posts at the border to Heftanin shelled Bektorya area with howitzer and mortar fire between 14:00-17:00 yesterday.

Troops at Hill Sor guard post affiliated to Çukurca Brigade shelled Martyr Şoreş, Martyr Mazlum and Hakkari hills between 14:30-15:30 yesterday.

Troops at Aruş and Serbesta guard posts shelled Martyr Dilber area with howitzer and mortar fire between 14:00-14:40 yesterday.

Troops at Bilican guard post at the border to Zap shelled Hill Martyr Colomerg with howitzer, mortar and tank fire between 07:30-08:00 yesterday.

HP-BIM further reported reconnaissance activities over the following areas in Medya Defense Zones;

- Garê area between 18:30-23:00 yesterday and 00.00–05.00 today,

- Zap region between 08.00-11.30 yesterday and 00.00–03.00 today,

- Metina area between 22.00–00.00 yesterday,

- Heftanin area between 19.00–00.00 yesterday.

An activity of Turkish jets also took place over;

- Zap region and Avashin are between 18.00 – 20.00 yesterday,

- Metina area between 22.00 – 00.00 yesterday,

- Heftanin area between 19.00 – 00.00 yesterday.
