HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Office released a statement providing information regarding the most recent actions conducted by guerrillas in North Kurdistan territory.
According to the statement, YJA Star (Free Women's Troops) guerrillas carried out a targeted action aiming the soldiers in Serê Sevê outpost in Hakkari's Çukurca district at 12:10 on October 10, which left one soldier dead.
At 09:00 on October 11 (today), guerrillas hit a group of soldiers operating on Koordine hill in Hakkari's Çukurca district. The strike by guerrillas resulted in clashes that still continue.
Troops in outposts in Çukurca region bombarded the Xeregol area at between 14:00 – 21:00 on October 10. Turkish jets shelled the area of Qela Bêdê at between 19:30 - 21:00 the same day.
At 02:00 on October 11, guerrillas stopped and burned 20 ton trucks that were transporting fuel to outposts in Geliyê Masiro area in Van's Başkale district. Drivers of the trucks were warned and released.
At 16:30 on October 9, guerrillas carried out a targeted action aiming a Turkish military unit deployed on Şuxa hill in Siirt's Garisa area, leaving 1 soldier dead.
At 17:00 on October 10, guerrillas punished a person named Ahmet Adıyaman, who was responsible for the murder of patriotic Kurdish civilians and guerrillas and also collaborated with the state, in Çemanê village in Şırnak's Beytüşşebap district.
In the evening hours on October 10, guerrillas carried out an action against a disguised unit of the Turkish army in Martyr Baran area in Amed's Farqin (Silvan) district. The Turkish military launched an operation in the area in the wake of the action, the details of which will be shared with the public once available.
