HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Office released a written statement regarding the continued bombardments of Turkish aircraft targeting the Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory.

The statement said:

“Turkish fighter jets bombed the Kozine hamlet in Qandil region of Medya Defense Zones between 14.00-15.30 on February 22, and the Kortek area between 20.30-22.00 on February 23.

The bombardment caused a damage on houses, fields and orchards of the locals.”
