HPG statement on continued Turkish airstrikes against guerrilla zones
HPG reported that Turkish military continued their aerial bombardments against the Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory.
HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Office released a statement about the ongoing attacks of Turkish warplanes against the Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory.
Accordingly, Turkish fighter jets carried out bombardments targeting:
QANDIL: Surroundings of Zergelê, Bokriskan and Lewcê villages and Balayan area between 19.30 and 20.30 on February 28,
AVASHIN: Mervanıs area between 14.45 and 15.15 on February 27, and Basya hamlet between 20.30 and 21.00 on February 28.
HPG reported that the airstrikes caused material damage in the surroundings of villages targeted by the Turkish jets.
