HPG: Two Turkish soldiers killed in Çemço

HPG reported that at least two soldiers of the Turkish invading forces were killed in the Çemço area in the Zap region on Wednesday.

According to the daily statement by People's Defence Forces (HPG), guerrillas continue striking the Turkish invading forces in the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

At least two soldiers were killed in the Çemço area in the Zap region on Wednesday as a result of an action by guerrillas using heavy weapons and sabotage tactics.

In the Xakurke region, the guerrillas struck the occupation forces twice with heavy weapons. One of the actions was carried out by YJA Star (Free Women’s Troops) fighters.

Regarding the latest attacks by the Turkish army, the HPG Press Centre reported that the Golka area in Metîna as well as Girê Cûdî were bombed five times by fighter jets on 14 December. The resistance areas of Çemço and Sîda were attacked dozens of times with howitzers and heavy weapons.
