HPG: Two Turkish soldiers killed in Metina

While guerrillas carried out actions against the Turkish invasion in Metina, the Turkish air force continues to bomb the Medya Defense Zones.

According to the press center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG), two soldiers of the Turkish army were killed and one other injured in Metina on May 12 during a sabotage action by guerrillas at Hill Şehîd Azad in Derarê. At the Zendura hill, the Şehîd Delal Air Defense Forces bombed the occupation forces from the air on May 11.

Meanwhile, the Turkish army has again bombed Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan over the past two days. According to HPG statement, four airstrikes were carried out on May 11 on the area of Werxelê in the Avashin region. On May 12, the areas of Type T and Cîlo yê Biçûk in the Zap region were shelled by attack helicopters. On the same day, soldiers were dropped from helicopters in the Mervanos area in Avashin.

The bombardments did not result in casualties in guerrilla ranks.
