The People's Defence Centre (HSM) Headquarters Command congratulated the commanders and guerrillas who are fighting in Avaşîn and Girê Cûdî for their successful actions.

The HSM Headquarters Command statement released on Wednesday includes the following:

“The Turkish state has been carrying out large-scale invasion attacks in Bashur (South Kurdistan) for the last two years. The outstanding resistance mounted by the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla against these attacks, the effective practice of the new era guerrilla warfare, and the subtle implementation of tunnel and mobile team warfare with various guerrilla tactics have been the biggest obstacles to the enemy troops. The guerrilla's self-sacrificing resistance and energetic combat performance have also produced important results.

The action carried out by the mobile teams in Avaşîn on September 8 in Mamreşo based on the Apoist self-sacrifice spirit was a successful action that took place in a novel tactical strike. It is an important accomplishment that an occupying unit was first taken under control, then effectively shot from three directions in a coordinated guerrilla action and 8 invaders were killed without any guerrilla casualties. The efficiency of the correct application of the mobile team fighting style and the creative practice of contemporary tactics has been demonstrated once again with your action. The fact that your action was carried out to take revenge for our comrades martyred by the Turkish chemical attacks in Girê Sor makes this action more meaningful. We congratulate all the mobile teams that took part in this action and the commanders and fighters who contributed to it for their success.

It was also a very successful action as Turkish troops attempting to enter the battle tunnels in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area on September 11 were taken under control, ambushed and then shot with sabotage, attack and assassination tactics. This coordinated action at Girê Cûdî was a good example of the skilfully coordinated warfare of tunnel teams and mobile teams that employed contemporary tactics professionally. In this coordinated operation, which included multiple actions, at least 12 Turkish soldiers, one of whom was an officer, were killed. The identity information of 10 soldiers was released and a historic lesson was given to the Turkish army once again. The Turkish army and special war media, which conceals the Turkish casualties with great hypocrisy, admitted only four casualties. However, it was later understood that multiple soldiers were killed, and their bodies were destroyed as a result of the attacks of the Turkish army. Your action has revealed once again that the Turkish army under the command of Tayyip Erdoğan and Hulusi Akar, who are motivated by their self-interests, not only carries out barbarian attacks by committing war crimes against the guerrillas, but also deliberately sends their own soldiers to death and does not even take back their dead. We congratulate all the commanders and fighters who contributed to this successful action, especially the tunnel teams and mobile teams in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area, who revealed the reality of war and the lies of the enemy troops and accomplished important results.
