International delegation visits TEV-DEM and PYD

International delegations continue to pay solidarity visits to Rojava. A delegation from Developing Democracy Institute held meetings with the PYD and TEV-DEM executives following its visit to Democratic Autonomy Centre.
A delegation from Developing Democracy Institute and British Inter Media organisation, including academic Lucy Stuart, political consultant Peter Galberath, Kerim Yıldız and Jonathan Powel first visited Democratic Autonomy Centre in Amude town in order to observe and get information about the democratic autonomy administration and system in Rojava.
Following the talks with the canton administrators, the international delegation visited TEV-DEM Diplomatic Relations Committee members and PYD executives in Qamishlo.
DELEGATION WELCOMED BY PYD AND TEV-DEM
The delegation was welcomed in Qamislo by the PYD co-chair Saleh Moslem, TEV-DEM coordination member Aldar Xelîl, members of TEV-DEM Diplomatic Relations Committee Ebdulselam Ehmed and Ebdulîlah Erebo, Yekitiya Star Cizîr Assembly president Welîde Botî and deputy president Naîme Hesen, Yekitiya Star Diplomatic Relations Committee member Mekiye Hiso and Foreign Affairs Council president Ebdulkerîm Umer.
TEV-DEM Coordination member Xelîl said that the visit of the visit of the delegation was an important step with regards to Rojava’s development of stronger ties with other countries.
CAMERON'S ENVOY TO LIBYA: YOU BOTH BUILD AN ADMINISTRATION AND FIGHT AGAINST TERROR
UK’s Prime Minister David Cameron’s official envoy to Libya, Jonathan Powel, said in the meeting that he was happy to meet TEV-DEM executives, adding: “You build your administration on one hand and fight against terror on the other hand. I hope your relations with other countries get stronger and extended”.
The closed meeting between the delegation and TEV-DEM and PYD executives lasted around two hours.
EHMED: THEY DEFINED OUR ADMINISTRATION AS 'A BIG STEP'
TEV-DEM Diplomatic Relations Committee member Ebdulselam Ehmed told ANHA News Agency after the meeting that the delegation said they perceive democratic autonomy administration positively and salute the success of the YPG/YPJ fighters in the fight against ISIS.
Ehmed added that the delegation defined the democratic autonomy system as a big step, and said that the meeting with the delegation took place in a very positive atmosphere.
