The wave of arrests continues across Iran following the popular uprising that erupted in Iran and Rojhilat (Eastern Kurdistan) against poverty and the regime’s repressive policies on December 28, 2017.
On January 11, Iranian forces detained two engineers in Hamadan province of Rojhilat.
According to a report by Haberger website, the engineers by the names of Cewad Eshrefi and Emîn Eshrefi were taken into custody after regime forces conducted a raid on the power plant where they were working.
While it is not known where the two engineers are held, appeals of the families to learn about the situation of their sons are left unanswered. It is not known either which units of the regime carried out the raid.
