Democratic Regions’ Party (DBP) Co-chair Ahmet Aygün was detained and then jailed in an operation in April. Aygün is imprisoned in Van F Type Prison for 7 months now.

The ordinary phone conversation between Aygün and his family, set for Saturday, did not take place at the weekend and his family appealed to the prison administration after failing to reach him.

While the prison administration only told the family that Aygün was not in Van F Type Prison at the moment, the family is not informed where he has been taken or exiled.
