HPG Commander Murat Karayılan expressed his support for the ‘Serî Hilde’ (Rise Up) campaign launched by Komalen Ciwan and Komalen Jinen Ciwan one month ago.
Komalen Ciwan (Communities of Youth) and Komalen Jinen Ciwan (Communities of Young Women) launched a campaign on October 30 named ‘Serî Hilde’ (Rise Up) in order to raise awareness about the isolation on Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan and demand his freedom, resist against Turkish attacks on Rojava and invasion of Southern Kurdistan and celebrate 40th anniversary of PKK. The campaign will last until the Newroz, March 21, of 2018.
HPG (People’s Defense Forces) Central Headquarters Commander Murat Karayılan spoke to ANF reporters about the campaign that is joined by youth from all four parts of Kurdistan and several countries from Europe to Russia.
Karayılan expressed his support for the campaign and called upon the youth to enhance the freedom struggle to build democratic confederalism all together.
Karayılan said; “Let’s join the ranks of freedom to avenge Delals and Azês. We, too, say serî hilde.”
