South Kurdistan's KDP (Kurdistan Democratic Party) has closed Sêmelka and Welid border gates for all of commercial and ordinary crossing.

The border gates between Bashur (South) and Rojava (West) Kurdistan had been opened for passage on the basis of a parliamentary decision dated October, 2014. Yet, the KDP government has ordered the closure of both border gates today.
