KDP forces attack pro-Afrin demonstration in Duhok
KDP security forces attacked the people who were protesting Turkish state’s attacks on Afrin and detained many people.
KDP (Kurdistan Democratic Party) asayish (security) forces attacked the people who wanted to stage a demonstration in protest at the Turkish state’s invasion attacks against Afrin Canton of Northern Syria. Many people were detained in the crackdown.
KDP forces had similarly prevented another demonstration by the people of Makhmur earlier today. Blocking the road from Makhmur to Hewler (Erbil), KDP forces prevented the people who were set to attend a press conference on Afrin.
