The conference organized by PKK Martyrs’ Families Committee in Sulaymaniyah city is attended by several families of martyrs from cities of Bashurê (Southern) Kurdistan.

A delegation from Rojava (Western) Kurdistan also meant to attend the conference. Yet, the delegation was obstructed by KDP (Kurdistan Democratic Party) officials at the Faysh Khabur border crossing after they completed procedures at Sêmelka border crossing between Rojava and Bashurê Kurdistan.

Denied access into Southern Kurdistan, the delegation turned back to Rojava.
