“Large numbers of Turkish soldiers positioned in Sidekan”

Sidekan sub-district administrator Îhsan Çelebî stated that the Turkish army has been making large amounts of military dispatches with helicopters to the region.

The Turkish state made military dispatches to the Sîdekan sub-district in the Soran district of Hewlêr late last night with helicopters. The Turkish army crossed 10 km into Iraqi and Southern Kurdistani territory with the military dispatches and started an invasion.

“LARGE NUMBERS OF SOLDIERS DISPATCHED WITH HELICOPTERS”

In a Rojnews article, Sîdekan sub-district administrator Îhsan Çelebî gave important information on the Turkish army’s attack on Sidekan’s Biradost and invasion attempt.

Çelebî stated that the Turkish state fired artilleries and bombed Bashurê (Southern) Kurdistan territory and added: “There have been clashes between the PKK guerillas and the Turkish army for days. The Turkish army jets have bombed the Bermîze region for 3 days. The Turkish army dispatched large numbers of soldiers in the Geliyê Reş and Bermîzê region with helicopters.”

Çelebî stated that the Turkish state fired artilleries into the Sîdekan region yesterday, and continued: “According to information we gathered from citizens, this military dispatch hasn’t engaged in significant activity in the area yet.”

Çelebî said, “The Turkish state’s military dispatch will create chaos in the region. We notified our superior of the incidents here and the military dispatches.”
