Man shot by police during the curfew in Silvan dies

In Silvan district of Amed, where the state terrorized the people for 12 days, a civilian shot by police 11 days ago, has died.

Rıdvan Us got shot and heavily wounded during intensified attacks by state forces against Tekel, Mescit and Konak neighborhoods on 5 November. The man has lost his life this morning at Diyarbakır Training and Research Hospital where he has been treated since.

The death toll in the 12-day long curfew in the district has thus risen to 8.

Us is expected to be laid to rest in Silvan following a post-mortem examination today.
