As the operation to liberate Manbij continues at full force on its 65th day, a large part of the city center has been cleared of ISIS gangs. Locals that remain in the ISIS-held areas continue to flock to liberated areas through the safe corridor opened by Manbij Military Council fighters recently.

Hundreds of women, children and elderly are arriving every day in the areas liberated by Manbij Military Council fighters. In the meantime, the ISIS gangs in the city center are directly opening fire on civilians in an attempt to hinder their leave which happens at the cost of their lives.

A woman has been killed as a result of the attacks of the gangs on a crowd of fleeing civilians. The slain woman was also taken to a safe area by the people with the support of Manbij fighters.

On the other hand, one ISIS member from among those targeting the civilians has been killed by Manbij fighters.
