Efrîn Canton Human Rights Organisation has announced that the migrants in the Shehba camp are in need of urgent aid.

Efrîn Canton Human Rights Organisation announcement reads:

“Due to artillery fire by the invading Turkish army towards villages in the Shehba region, the wave of migration towards Efrîn Canton continues to grow.

All aid organisations in Efrîn Canton have provided for the basic needs of the migrants with help from the Social Affairs Council, but the urgent need for tents, food, medicine and clothing continues for migrants in the Shehba camp. Aid still couldn’t be delivered to some families in the camp. Therefore, we are calling for an urgent aid from humanitarian aid organisations to the Shehba camp.

As the Efrîn Canton Human Rights Organisation, we strongly condemn the invading Turkish state’s attacks on the Shehba region.”
