The gendarme command in Mardin's Midyat district was targeted by a missile attack last night.

Long barreled weapons were also used in the attack against Botaş Gendarme Command, which was followed by a gunfight in the area, according to reports.

While no detail was immediately available as to the results of the attack, Turkish troops were sent to the scene and a military operation was launched in the area.
