The Press Office of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) has published the names of the three guerrilla fighters who died on 31 May in Çukurca district of Hakkari province in clashes with Turkish military forces during an operation.

The HPG had announced the death of their three fighters a week ago. The statement said: "On 31 May, the Turkish occupying army launched an operation in Derewa Qesradê area during which fighting broke out between our forces and the occupying forces. Our fighters Brûsk, Harun and Kawa resisted fiercely down to the last bullet and fell as martyrs.”

The HPG expresses their condolences to the relatives of the martyrs and the patriotic people of Kurdistan for the loss of its members.
