Turkmen fighters resisting the increasing attacks of the Turkish state and Syrian National Coalition (SNC) gang groups at the forefront spoke to ANF. Fighters Brusk Türkmeni and Agit Türkmeni said that they have been resisting in order to build a democratic Syria where Kurds, Arabs, Assyrians and Turkmens can coexist with their own languages and flags.

‘TURKISH STATE AND SNC GANGS ATTACK THE WILL OF COEXISTENCE’

Manbij Military Council fighter Agit Türkmeni described the initiative to liberate Manbij as the initiative to create free and shared life, and emphasized that Manbij was liberated after great sacrifices. Türkmeni said that as Manbij Military Council, they want to build bridges among peoples and defend shared and equal coexistence. Türkmeni underlined that they would not be silent in the face of the attacks of Turkey and SNC gangs against Manbij, and continue to work towards eradicating ISIS, SNC gangs and Turkish soldiers from Syria.

Agit Türkmen called upon Turkmen people to join Manbij Military Council and help liberate Bab, Manbij and other occupied parts of Syria.

‘TURKEY AND THE ISIS AND SNC GANGS IT SUPPORTS ARE THE KILLERS OF TURKMENS’

Manbij Military Council fighter Agit Türkmeni noted that the Turkish state increased its attacks on Manbij recently, and said that Turkey helps SNC gang groups such as Sultan Murat Brigade, Liwa Hemze, Feyleq Sham, Feyleq 16, ISIS, Al Nusa and Ahrar Al Sham as opposed to Turkmen people. Türkmeni said that Erdoğan has sent trucks-load of guns to these gang groups under the disguise of helping Turkmens, and Manbij Military Council seized several such trucks and exposed Turkey’s ties to these groups often described as radical Islamist by international powers. Türkmeni criticized the silence of international powers on Turkey’s aforementioned ties, and said that this silence encourages the attacks of Turkey, SNC, and ISIS on Manbij.

‘GANG GROUPS SUCH AS SULTAN MURAT BRIGADE DO NOT DEFEND TURKMENS’

Bab Military Council fighter Brusk Türkmeni stated that gang groups such as Sultan Murat Brigade, Liwa Hemze and Syrian Turkmen Front, which have been set up by the Turkish Intelligence Agency and are pro-Erdoğan, do not defend Turkmens, and have tortured, exiled beheaded many Turkmens that have no pledged allegiance to them. Brusk Türkmeni said that he is one of the Turkmens from Bab region, and underlined that Turkey has not sent aid to Syrian Turkmens so far.

CALL UPON TURKMEN PEOPLE

Bab Military Council fighter Brusk Türkmeni emphasized that they are putting up a historic resistance in Manbij and Shehba region against SNC and ISIS gang groups that are supported by Turkey, and the Turkish state targets Syrian peoples’ will of coexistence. Lastly, Türkmeni called upon Turkmen people to play a more active role in the resistance against Turkey’s attacks by joining the revolutionary ranks of Manbij and Bab Military Councils.
