Turkish military forces have today started to conduct mortar attacks in the town as they are yet to make an advance into the areas of self-rule where resistance by local self-defense units endures against the intensified aggression.

A mortar shell fired by military forces hit a civilian house in Şah neighborhood, leaving at least 6 people inside wounded. The six civilians, three of whom suffered heavy injuries, were taken to Cizre State Hospital.

38-year-old Veli Müjde has died soon after referral to hospital, while the others remain under treatment.
