In Nusaybin district of Mardin where a curfew remains in effect for the 13th uninterrupted day, people have taken to the streets to protest the terror and onslaught by Turkish state forces.
Nusaybin co-mayor Cengiz Kök who is also joining the people's protest march in the district said they will not recognize the curfew of the state anymore.
Speaking to ANF, Kök stressed that the onslaught in Nusaybin has no legal or humanitarian base, adding; "A town with 115 thousand population remains under an unprecedented captivity for 13 days. It is enough now. We will be standing by our people who are taking to the streets to say stop to this atrocity."
Co-mayor said the people themselves have taken initiative to end the ban that means nothing to them from now on.
During the 13 days of curfew in the district, attacks by 'security forces' have claimed the lives of 9 civilians.
