People of Rojava march for Öcalan’s freedom

Thousands of people marched through 3 different routes in Rojava’s Cizir canton and met in Dirbesiyê for the freedom of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Thousands of people from Hesekê, Serêkaniyê, Til Temir, Dirbêsiyê and Zergan met on Martyr Arin intersection in Dirbesiyê for the freedom of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan. Democratic autonomy administrators, political party leaders and representatives of civil society institutions also attended the march.
Participants of the march held signs demanding the freedom of Öcalan and chanted the slogans of ‘No life without the leader,’ ‘Long live leader Apo’ and ‘Long live the struggle of İmralı’
Organized by TEV-DEM, the march continued until the Western-Southern Kurdistan border for the purpose of drawing support for the self-administration resistance in Northern Kurdistan. The isolation of Kurdish People’s Leader Öcalan had been intensified since April 5, 2015.
