People start to gather outside HDP offices in the Kurdish region

While the counting of votes continues, people in the Kurdish region have started to gather outside the HDP offices in cities and districts.

Voting procedures for Sunday’s local elections have ended in Turkey. As the counting of votes has begun, people started to gather outside the offices of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) to follow the elections results as they come out.

Masses gathered in front of the HDP building in Amed, chanting “We will resist to victory” and “Amed is ours”.

People are joining a halay dance as HDP Co-chair Pervin Buldan is expected to arrive soon.
