The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Political Bureau Member Seedi Ehmed Pîre was hosted by a program on Aryen TV and expressed support for the statement of PKK Executive Committee Member Murat Karayılan who recently warned against attempts to ignite an inter-Kurdish war and being drawn into Ankara's war plans.

"The KDP has mobilized the Roj Peshmerga and deployed them to the Garê region in Behdinan, which is conducive to a possible conflict. Murat Karayılan, who has been fighting for years, is experienced in peace and war. He knows well how devastating a war might be for a nation. Therefore, everyone should endorse Mr. Karayılan's statements.”

“KDP AND TURKEY MADE MANY AGREEMENTS”

Pîre continued; "Turkey has strongholds in the Behdinan region. Turkey’s telephone lines operate in the region. I'm not just talking about telephone lines in Asya or Korek. I'm rather talking about lines directly connected to Turkey. The KDP has made many agreements with Turkey, but we do not have information about them. Although we are in power, we are not informed about developments".

“WE STAND BY THE PEOPLE OF SHENGAL”

Pîre emphasized that; "We stand by the decision of the people of Shengal who obviously do not approve of this agreement. That is why we, too, do not find the agreement right."

Pîre described Turkey’s invasion attempt in Southern Kurdistan as “unacceptable”.
