Roboski Union Head Veli Encü, who lost many relatives of his in the massacre by Turkish jets on December 28, 2011 in Roboski village of Şırnak's Uludere district, was taken into custody during a raid of soldiers in the village at 03:00 last night.
Dozens of soldiers raided Encü's house and searched all the house in detail before detaining Encü and leaving the village.
During the raid, local resident Taybet Encü as well as peace activists Yannis Vasilis and Meral Geylani, who have been living in the village for a while, were also taken into custody.
