HPG Press Center issued a statement today on the action on January 1 and said the following:

“We had previously announced that on January 1 at approximately 16.30 our forces carried out an action on the Girê Sinek outpost in Şırnak’s Qileban (Uludere) district. According to information gathered, six enemy soldiers have been killed in this action.”
