Son of a resident detained in Talatê: They want to disappear my father

Necat Yıldız was detained in Talatê village, and his son Rıfat Yıldız said the state forces don’t accept that his father is under custody. Yıldız pointed out that the state wants to disappear his father in custody.

After Nusaybin’s Xerabê Bava village, the Talatê village that was surrounded 3 days ago has come under attack, and the people in custody are attempted to be disappeared. Necat Yıldız, village headman Mahmut Uzun and Abdurrahman Öker were taken in custody in Talatê village and there is no information on them. The state forces only accept taking Şahap Yalçın in custody and they have released Mecid Gündüz.

“I CALLED MY FATHER, SOLDIERS PICKED UP”

One of the detainees is Necat Yıldız, whose son Rıfat Yıldız said he last called his father on February 22 and soldiers picked it up. Yıldız said the following: “I called my father on the first day of the attacks, a soldier picked it up and when I asked where my father was, he told me my father was alright, and he was a soldier. Then he hung up. Since that day, we can’t get a word on my father.”

“THEY DON’T ACCEPT HE WAS TAKEN IN CUSTODY”

Yıldız said they called the authorities, the police and the gendarmerie to find out what happened to his father and added: “The Nusaybin District Gendarmerie Outpost only accepts having Şahap Yalçın in custody. They don’t accept that they have my father Necat Yıldız, Abdurrahman Öker and village headman Mahmut Uzun in custody.”

Rıfat Yıldız pointed out the state wanted to disappear his father and the others with him, and called on the public for awareness.
