The Southern Kurdistan parliamentary elections planned for November 1 have been postponed 8 months. The change was announced in a session the Gorran (Change) Movement and the Komela Îslami (Kurdistan Islamic Society) didn’t attend.
68 MPs attended the General Assembly in the 111-seat parliament.
The vote to postpone elections passed with 60 votes for and 8 votes against.
