State forces have turned Yüksekova State Hospital into an armory.
The state hospital in Hakkâri's Gever (Yüksekova) district, where the Turkish state declared a curfew yesterday, has been transformed into an armory. The hospital was abruptly evacuated of its patients two days ago, and numerous armed vehicles were placed in the hospital’s yard. Ambulances and first aid teams were also brought to the district from Van, Ağrı, Bitlis and Bingöl.
HOSPITAL STAFF THREATENED
State officials that turned the hospital into an armory brought 4 military doctors to the district, and the state forces currently stationed at the hospital threaten the medical staff.
Sources confirm that state forces use parts of the hospital as storage sites for guns and munitions.
