The operation of Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD) against ISIS gangs in south Hesekê continues in its seventh day.

According to the information obtained from the operation area, Syrian Democratic Forces have liberated the village of South Siwêfat village to the northeast of Hol and Xatuniyê lake in the wake of heavy clashes last night.

While a number of gang members were killed in clashes, corpses of 2 and a large quantity of ammunition were seized by QSD forces.

On Hesekê-Hol line, the village of Elî Hesen, from which ISIS gangs launched attacks on QSD forces, has been liberated last night. QSD forces also destroyed a Konkurs missile and a bomb-laden vehicle and seized many munitions belonging to the gangs.

In northwest of Hol town, QSD forces started to make advances towards the KHabûr river after liberating the village of Dawidiyê. The village of Alanda Hiniş in the area has also been liberated.

In the seventh day of the ongoing operation, QSD forces have reached up to 3 km to the village of Heqil Tişrîn located between Hesekê and Hol town.
