Thousands have started to march towards Diyarbakır Governor's Office after gathering at Koşuyolu Park upon a call by DBP Amed provincial organisation today afternoon.
The people joining the march demand the lifting of the curfew and ongoing attacks by Turkish state forces in the central Sur district which has been a scene of unidentified murders since the killing of Bar President Tahir Elçi near Foor Footed Minaret on 28 November.
Police teams have blockaded the area in Koşuyolu and Ofis area which also witnesses activity by a police helicopter.
