Three more administrators of the Democratic Regions' Party (DBP) and Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) have been jailed in the most recent operations.
DBP Tatvan district administrators İrfan Yalçınkaya and Salih Göneri, and HDP Mutki district administrator Seyit Birlik, who had been detained during operations in Bitlis province 10 days ago, were referred to Bitlis Chief Public Prosecutor's Office late Thursday evening after procedures at the provincial police department.
Referred to court after their testimony, all the three administrators were formally arrested and sent to Bitlis E Type Prison on alleged charges of "membership to a terrorist organisation" and "aiding and abetting a terrorist organisation".
